Talking about death isn’t easy. As death doulas we hear from our clients that they don't know where to start talking about end of life plans. We hear time and time again, “I don’t know how to start.”
We created Before I Go as a tool to gently begin these discussions. Each of the 31 beautifully designed card presents a question with a simple follow up step. Some of the questions are practical (“Who will make medical decisions for you if you can’t speak for yourself?”). Others are playful (“What snacks should be served at your celebration of life?”). All are designed to spark connection, clarity, and even laughter.
